Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of WhapeX by merchants, including any integrations with third-party platforms such as Shopify and Meta (WhatsApp/Instagram).

1. Data Processing Agreement

By connecting a third-party store (such as Shopify) to WhapeX, the merchant agrees that WhapeX may process their customer data solely for the purpose of providing the requested integration features (order sync, cart recovery messaging, and unified customer communication).

2. Merchant obligations

• The merchant is responsible for ensuring they have the right to share their customers' data with WhapeX for the stated purposes.
• The merchant must comply with applicable data protection laws (such as consumer protection or privacy regulations) in their operating jurisdiction.
• The merchant is responsible for the content of any messages sent to their customers through WhapeX.

3. Data security

WhapeX implements industry-standard security measures, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, to protect merchant and customer data. Access to each merchant's data is isolated and restricted to their own authorized team members.

4. Account termination and data deletion

Merchants may disconnect any integration (such as Shopify) at any time from their WhapeX dashboard. Upon request, WhapeX will delete all associated customer data within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Limitation of liability

WhapeX provides its services "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or its integrations.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of WhapeX after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
